FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
If yours is not here, ask it in the demo. We would rather answer it properly than guess at it on a web page.
Is SupplyRunner just a marketplace?
No. SupplyRunner combines B2B commerce, supplier relationships, intelligent order routing, trade workflows and logistics coordination. Network discovery is one part of the wider operating platform.
Do I need to replace my existing systems?
Not necessarily. The right approach depends on your operation. SupplyRunner can be assessed alongside your existing systems, with integrations considered where required and feasible.
Do I need to join the Network to work with SupplyRunner?
No. Businesses can discuss an operating-platform approach, Network participation, advanced distribution requirements or Managed Distribution. The suitable model depends on your objectives and the commercial arrangement.
What if a supplier does not want to use SupplyRunner?
Managed Distribution may be suitable. SupplyRunner can maintain a managed supplier representation and agree a process for receiving orders or fulfilment instructions. The supplier can continue its existing operations, subject to agreed confirmation, service and fulfilment requirements.
Who invoices the buyer under Managed Distribution?
SupplyRunner invoices the buyer and collects the buyer payment. The supplier is paid according to the agreed supplier net price and settlement terms.
Who is responsible for fulfilment and product issues under Managed Distribution?
The managed supplier is responsible for supplying the contracted goods and meeting the fulfilment obligations agreed with SupplyRunner. The commercial agreement must specify responsibility for product quality, shortages, damage, returns, recalls, claims and related costs. SupplyRunner can manage the customer-facing process under the agreed arrangement.
How much does SupplyRunner cost?
Commercial terms are tailored to the business and are not published as fixed prices on the website. We consider current order value, transaction volume, the required capabilities, fulfilment model, integrations and service requirements before preparing a proposal.
Is pricing based on current order value?
Current order value and transaction volume are important inputs, alongside the scope of the solution, network participation, operational complexity and required services. The final commercial terms are confirmed in a tailored proposal; there is no public fixed percentage or universal pricing formula.
Are payment processing and logistics included?
Not automatically. Payment-provider fees, carrier charges, third-party logistics costs, integrations and bespoke services are assessed and identified in the proposal where relevant.
Does SupplyRunner publicly rank suppliers by price?
No. SupplyRunner focuses on relevant supply, availability, delivery capability, commercial fit and direct supplier relationships rather than public cheapest-supplier rankings.
Can SupplyRunner support multiple suppliers for one buyer requirement?
Yes. Multi-sourcing can allocate a buyer requirement across multiple suppliers where that fits availability, quantities, delivery dates, routes and commercial rules.
Can SupplyRunner support enterprise integrations?
Enterprise requirements can be assessed during technical discovery. Integration scope, feasibility, responsibilities, costs and timelines are confirmed in the proposal.
Which markets does SupplyRunner work in?
The United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, the United States, India and Sri Lanka. Proposals are prepared in the currency of the market you trade in.
